Directions to the Oppenheimer Study Center

External
  • To Los Alamos area from Santa Fe:Take US 84/285 (St. Francis Drive) north to Pojoaque (20 mi / 32 km). At Pojoaque, take the NM 502 exit. Drive west on NM 502 to the NM 4 interchange (8 mi / 13 km). Take the NM 4 exit (Truck route/White Rock/Bandelier) and drive southwest (1 mi / 1.6 km) to the light. Turn right at the light (East Jemez Road) and drive the truck route to Los Alamos National Laboratory at the first traffic light (5 mi / 8 km). You can also check maps of how to approach Los Alamos.
  • To the badge office: All non-US citizen visitors must proceed directly to the badge office to receive a visitor's badge. Go straight through the light. Take your first left into the main parking lot. Follow the signs to the Badge Office, and park in the short-term parking. Proceed to the badge office.
  • To the Oppenheimer Study Center, TA-3, Bldg. 207: If you are in the badge office, as you leave, the study center in in the Research Library building to your right. If you did not go to the badge office, the Study Center and Research Library is in front o the Otowi building. Try to find a parking place!
